Dolores Mae (Brickner) Ragle

Dolores Mae “Dolly” Ragle, age 88, of Sidney, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her residence.  She was born September 17, 1936, to the late Dan Brickner and Eva (Oller) Brickner in Tiffin, Ohio.

She married Arlie Ragle June 11, 1976, and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is first husband Ralph Scherger, parents Dan and Eva Brickner, brother James Brickner, daughters; Diana Schroth, Lynn Perkins, son Christopher Ragle, grandchildren: Kevin, Dalanda, Killian Roddy, Neil Ragle, Jeff and Jason Ritter, Louisa Mowery.

Dolly is survived by brother Edward (Brenda) Brickner of Tiffin, sister Janet (Mike) Wagner of Tiffin, daughters; Brenda Mowery of Tiffin, Barb (Scott) Roddy of Sidney, daughter-in-law Barb (Chris) Ragle of Bloomville, son Brad Scherger of California, Timothy Ragle of Tiffin, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Dolly attended First Church of the Nazarene in Sidney. She was a graduate of Old Fort High School in Tiffin, Ohio.  She was passionate about her family. She loved fishing and boating.  She worked at ITT in Tiffin before marrying Arlie and then they enjoyed and relaxed with their California lottery winnings in California, Florida and Ohio. She loved her many friends at the Senior Center in Sidney. She looked forward to the holidays and summer camping trips with family. Dolly was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State University Buckeye fan. Go Bucks!!!

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Service will commence at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Chad Wilson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Senior Center in Sidney in Dolly’s memory.
