David R. Moses

David R. Moses, Jr., age 56, of Maplewood, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on September 24, 1968, in Sidney to Diane (Driskell) (Jerome A. Tucker) Danzig of Sidney and the late David R. Moses, Sr.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by one brother: Jamie (Thomas Cokel) Moses of McComb, IL; and cousins, aunts and uncles.

David was a graduate of Houston High School.  He was a retired equipment operator for several sand and gravel operations in the area.  David loved hunting, fishing and collecting guns.  He especially loved all types of wild life.  David was a member of Holy Angels Church in Sidney.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby County Animal Shelter.
