David Allen Smith

David Allen Smith, age 50, of Piqua, passed away peacefully, January 3, 2026, at his residence.  He was born July 11, 1975, in Uniontown, PA., to the late Otha Henry Smith Sr. and Betty Sue (Cornett) Smith.

David is survived by brothers; Milton (Melanie) Smith, Otha Junior Smith , Bobby Smith, all of Sidney, Paul Christopher (Sherry) Smith of Jackson Center, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters-in-law, Vivian Smith and Harriet Smith.

David was of the apostolic faith.  He worked at Bob Evans Restaurant in Sidney for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed attending the casinos and playing the lottery.  David loved spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
