David Joseph Albers, age 65, of Sidney, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Hospice of Miami County, Troy.
He was born March 19, 1956 in Sidney, to the late Raymond Albers and Armella (Hoelscher) Albers. On August 30, 1986, he married Marcie (McClain) Albers and she survives.
Also surviving are daughter Stephanie (Beau) Webb of Dayton, granddaughter Alice Rose Webb, siblings; Tom (Angie) Albers of McCartyville, Janice (Mark) Lochtefeld of Mansfield, Ohio, Diane (Tim) Sekas of Minster, Ron (Chris) Albers of McCartyville and many special nieces and nephews.
David was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville. He had retired from Honda of America Engine Plant in Anna. He loved music, being one of the Rolling Stones biggest fans. He attended Delayed Disease classes at the YMCA in Sidney. David loved gatherings at his Mom’s house after church on Sundays to be with his family and loved ones.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Rd., Sidney. There will be a viewing at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Tonkin officiating. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Cemetery in McCartyville.
