Darla Jean (Symonds) Line

Darla Jean Line, age 73, of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Wilson Health, Sidney. She was born July 6, 1948, in Sidney, to the late Dale Symonds and Lillian (Miller) Symonds who survives in Sidney.

On March 11, 1972, she married Richard Line, (they have enjoyed fifty years of marriage), and he survives.

Surviving also are daughter; Jennifer (Kelley) McGraw of Columbus, son, Jason (Rachel) Line of Troy, grandchildren; Kelsey Line, Jared Line, Braylen Line, Ember Line, R.J. Walker, Greg Spencer, Katelyn Marrs, Hurley Marrs, brothers; Larry (Betty) Symonds of Venice, Florida, Mike (Louise) Symonds of Jackson Center, brother-in-law, Eddy Stumpff of Troy and sister in law, Audrey Meiring of Ada, Ohio. She is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Symonds, and mother and father in law; Edward and Patricia Stumpff.

Darla was a member of the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church in Anna, where she served on the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church Benevolence Christian Action Team.  She enjoyed old  westerns, crime dramas, bowling, reading and dearly loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She liked to spend as much time as she could with all her family members.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Rd., Sidney.  Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Pastor David J. Eidson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna Fire and Rescue/St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church in Darla’s memory.
