Constance (Sherman) Heckman

Constance C. Heckman, age 100, of Sidney, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Fair Haven Nursing Home, Sidney.

She was born October 16, 1922, in Fort Loramie, Ohio, to the late Frank Sherman and Cora (Kramer) Sherman.

Constance was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Heckman and sister, Doris Cecil.

She is survived by her loving son; Tim (Lori) Heckman of Sidney, grandchildren; Todd (Julie) Heckman of Troy, Ryan Heckman of Columbus, Scott (Suzie) Heckman of Troy, great-grandchildren; Emma, Mitch and Drake.

Constance was of the Christian faith.  She was a 1940 graduate of Minster High School.  She was employed as Secretary at Boller & Boller Law Office for 15 years. She enjoyed reading and wrote several articles and also traveling with her late husband. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

There will be no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held at the discretion of the family.
