Christina Marie Newman

Christina Marie Newman, age 54, of Anna, passed away September 22, 2024 at her home in Anna surrounded by family.

She was born January 22, 1970, in Sidney, to the late Mark T. Barga and Shirley (Davis) Barga. She is preceded in death by Grandparents Wavel & Mabel Davis and Marcellus & Sara Barga. A brother-in-law Jerry Pearson also preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are husband Don Newman of Anna; Child Nathaniel (Lisa) Newman of DeGraff; Grandchildren Carter Newman of Anna, Hunter Newman of Columbus, Charlie Brackney of Sidney, Keonia Brackney of Sidney; Siblings Mark (Lorri) Barga of Anna, Mike (Karen) Newman of Troy, Linda Pearson of Alabama, Elizabeth Allen of Alabama; Nieces Nicole (Ryan Shurts) Barga of Anna, Mary (Jakob) Argabright of Piqua, Sarah (Micah) Smith of Texas; Nephew Zachery (Aimee) Barga of Sidney, Mikey Newman of Florida, Dan (Jodi) Pearson of Mason, Gary (Toni) Pearson of Alabama; Great Nieces and Nephews; and many special friends.

Chris worked at Collins Aerospace for many years. She loved playing bingo, card games and board games with her family and friends. Chris was known for her fashion sense, humor, her love of butterflies, and love of bowling. Chris was very outspoken and loved her family with all of her heart.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brent Driver officiating.
