Cheryl (Roby) Morrison

Cheryl Roby (Berning) (Morrison), age 80, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, in St. Mary's, Ohio. Born on March 21, 1945, in Lima, Ohio, she lived a full and devoted life centered around her family.

Cheryl was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through her eight children: Paula (Pat) Elliott, Beth (Greg) Strunk, Sandra (Bryan) Lykins, Richard (Carol) Berning, Melina (Greg) Rodabaugh, Bob (Michelle) Morrison, Tammy (Steve) Cross, and Holly (Brian) Hall. She was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and cherished her numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gene Morrison; her son Mark Berning; her parents Jean and Herman Roby; her brother Jim Roby; and her granddaughter Stephanie Elliott.

Cheryl’s life was marked by deep love for her family and an enduring strength that carried them through both joyful celebrations and difficult times. Her warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vancrest, 1035 Hager Street, St. Mary's, Ohio.
