Charles L. Holloway

Charles Lewis Holloway, age 80, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Wilson Health.  He was born on April 28, 1943, in Pine Knot, KY, to the late Clifford and Effie (Strunk) Holloway.  On December 5, 1962, he married Shelby (Calhoon) Holloway and she survives.  They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by three children: Rhonda (Ben) Douglas of Sidney, Cathy (Terry) Evans of Dayton and Laura (Ken) Burden of Anna; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one due in 4 weeks; one sister: Faye Keith; and two brothers: Gene Holloway and Morris Holloway.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Doris Nolte; and one brother: Danny Holloway.

Charles retired from Hartzell.  He loved music and reading.  The most important thing is his life was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
