Carolyn A. Bodenmiller Obituary

Carolyn A. Bodenmiller, age 89, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025.  She was born on December 3, 1935, in Sidney to the late Omar and Laura (Bedford) Bowden.  She married Donald L. Bodenmiller 73 years ago and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Carolyn is survived by six children: Vicki (Roger) York of Jackson Center, Donald David (Christy) Bodenmiller of Sidney, Tim (Tammy) Bodenmiller of Sidney, Bonnie (Bill) Gold of Sidney, Douglas (Abbie) Bodenmiller of Greenville and Michael Bodenmiller of Sidney; fifteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: James Clay, William Elwood, Omar Bruce, Franklin LeRoy and Coleman Eugene Bowden; three sisters: Mable Smith, Arlene Falke and Kay Jackson; and one daughter-in-law: Sara Bodenmiller.        

Carolyn was a graduate of Sidney High School.  She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness church.  Carolyn was a homemaker.  She loved to sing, spend time with her grandchildren and family, traveling and working in her flower garden.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Burial will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
