Carl Franklin Case, 84, of Botkins, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his residence in Botkins Ohio, of natural causes.
He was born September 5, 1939, in Pemberton, Ohio, the son of Virgil and Kathryn (Straight) Case. On October 19, 1963, in Sidney, Ohio, he married Dorothy Case, who survives.
He is survived by his children, Sue Case, Danny Case, Scott Case and Michael Case; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Virgil/Butch (Debbie) Case, four sisters; Marsha (Roger) Burkhammer, Cheryl (Bob) Haskell, Mildred Ward, Karen Case and his pet, Buddy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Kathryn, his two brothers, Bob and Roger Case, three sisters, Cora and Janet Case and Jeane Aspaw.
Carl retired from Crown in 2001, he enjoyed collecting Case tractors and spending time with his grandkids, going to flea markets and picking on his wife. He was also a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles. He could always be found “not sleeping” on the front porch on a nice day.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 12, 2023, at the Wapakoneta Eagles, 25 E. Auglaize Street, Wapakoneta, Ohio 45895.
