Betty J. Trimble

Betty J. Trimble, age 86, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney.  She was born on May 2, 1938 in Meadowview, VA, to the late Marion and Eliza Ann (Morrison) Adkins.

Betty is survived by three children: Roger (Elaine) Tingler of Sidney, Karen Osborne of Pasco and Jeff Trimble of Sidney; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Delores Napier; two brothers: Clyde Adkins and Paul Adkins; and two sisters-in-law: Eunice Adkins and Mary Adkins. 

Betty was of the Baptist faith.  She retired after 30 years from Copeland Corporation in Sidney.  Betty enjoyed music, ceramics, car rides and sleep overs.  She had a sweet tooth and was very fond of her two cats: Sammy and Rocky.  Betty liked valued friends, holidays and making baby blankets.  She also liked watching Swamp People, CSI and drinking Dr. Thunder.  Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, lunchmeat sandwiches and good conversation.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Rev. Dale Morrison officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
