Betty L. (Hughes) White

Betty L. White, age 92, of Sidney, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love Retirement Center, Sidney.

She was born May 23, 1931, in Sidney, to the late Fred Hughes and Golda (McFarland) Hughes.

Surviving are children; Dianna (Gary) King of Sidney, Judy Miller (Rick Wendeln) of Russells Point, Barbara (Rod) Lucas, Karen (Rick) Young, Steven (Julie) White, all of Sidney, Mark (Melora) White of Troy, and a total of thirty- eight grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister Arlene Bogart of Tipp City.

Betty was preceded in death by her son, Charles White Jr., brothers: Edward Hughes, Harold Hughes, Walt Hughes, Floyd Hughes, sisters: Eileen Wright and Florence Sharp. Also preceding her in death was special cousin, Sharon Hughes.

Betty was retired and of the Christian faith. She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
