Betty Sue Stephens

Betty Sue Stephens, age 85, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Momentous Health Care in Sidney.  She was born on June 24, 1939, in Frakes, KY, to the late Sherman and Georgie (Thacker) Fuson.  Her husband of more than 63 years, Billy J. Stephens, preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by one son: Barry (Sheila) Stephens of Sidney; one son-in-law: Larry Valentine of Sidney; three brothers: Roland Fuson of Tazewell, TN, Arlie (Thelma) Fuson of Frakes, KY, and James Fuson of Frakes, KY; four grandchildren: Ian Stephens, Erin Stephens, Brian Rench and Denise Wise; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Beth Valentine; and four siblings: Carl Fuson, Elease Jones, Jessie Stewart and Roweene Partin.

Betty was of the Baptist faith.  She like to quilt, cook and loved to go to thrift stores.  Betty also loved to go back to Frakes, KY, several times a year to visit family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Shelby Memory Gardens with Pastor Steve Edminson officiating.

The family would like to thank Day City Hospice, Piqua Manor, Heritage Home Care and Momentous Health Care for the kindness and care they showed to Betty.
