Berdina Gross, age 65, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born on January 9,1964, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Alfred Stockton and Nancy Bolden.
On April 21, 1979, she married Kurt J. Gross, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Eric Gross, and her sister, Sara (Gross) Jacobs.
Berdina is survived by her loving daughter, Anita Gross; her cherished grandchildren, Drequise Advonced, Shakira Tamez, and Carlos Tamez; and her siblings: Eleanor Stockton of Troy, Ohio, Rosella Daniel, Alfred Stockton Jr., Lorena Flemming, Allen Stockton, Wesley Stockton, William Stockton, and Wayne Stockton, all of Sidney, Ohio. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
Berdina was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She had a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room. She treasured time spent with her loved ones, whether it was sharing meals, laughter, or simply enjoying each other's company.
She especially loved her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and were the light of her life. Berdina found happiness in life's simple pleasures, including her daily walks, playing bingo, and visiting with friends and neighbors. She was known for her caring nature, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of comfort to those in need.
Her strength, love, and dedication to her family will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
