Barbara Lou Johnson

Barbara Lou Johnson, age 77, of Sidney passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Heritage Center in Minster.  She was born on March 9, 1945, in Sidney, to the late Elmer and Ella (Garland) Jones.  Her husband, Herbert Johnson, preceded her in death.

Barbara is survived by children: Jennifer (David) Hyvarinen and Jason Douglas, both of Anna; siblings: Imogene (Jean) Andrews of Sidney, Wanda (Marvin) Wooddell of Nancy, KY, Clinton (Irene) Jones of Sidney, Betty Davis of Sidney, Susan Brown Of Bradenton, FL, Alice (Jerry) Alexander of Sidney and Sherry (Ron) Tackett of Sidney; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: James Jones.

Barbara was of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed watching TV.  Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved her dog, Bandit.

Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Pastor Joe Clemons officiating.  Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
