Ann L. (Stump) Kuck Spillers passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney, OH. She was born on January 7, 1934, to the late C. Roscoe and Bertha (Dunnavant) Stump in Sidney. Ann was married to Thomas L. Kuck, Sr., on April 6, 1962, and he preceded her in death and then married Robert E. Spillers on October 28, 1989, and he also preceded her in death.
Ann is survived by sons: Allen (Debbie) of Whitehouse, OH, Thomas Jr. (Susan) of Beaufort, SC and Craig (Melanie) of Anna, OH; sister: Nancy (Jerry) Rismiller of Greenville, OH; step children: Randy (Roxanne) Spillers, Becky (Ken) Prenger; grandchildren: Stephanie (Phil) Hicks, Matt (Jenna) Kuck, Paige (Max) Newcomer, Kaylan (Dan) Look, Ian Kuck, Eli Kuck, Breah Kuck, Nicholas Overbey, Kyleigh (Travis) Fannin, Ashley (Travis) Milliser, Justin (Danyel) Spillers, Kurt (Karamae) Prenger, Marc Prenger; great grandchildren: Luca, Anabelle, Josephine, Ruby, Cameron, Olivia, Clara Mae, Noah, Owen, Aria, Reid, Elizabeth, Annabelle, Emmaline; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, Ann was preceded in death by brothers: Jim, Jerry and Joe Stump, grandchild: Quin Kuck, great grandchild: Kyara Mailhot.
Ann graduated from Sidney High School in 1951. She worked at Shelby Manufacturing, Richard Martin Accounting and Rick Ike Accounting. She enjoyed her homemaker years raising her three sons.
Ann was a long-term member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ and loved her many years of fellowship and volunteer projects at the church. Ann volunteered at Dorothy Love Retirement Center and Wilson Memorial Hospital. Ann enjoyed knitting hats for newborns at the hospital and afghans/scarves for family and friends. Ann and her late husband, Bob, made many crafts together, specifically cornhole boards and bags. She loved to fish and watch the Buckeyes, Reds and Bengals while also attending any sports her grandchildren were involved with. Ann loved her puzzle making in later years. Ann’s nickname throughout her life was “Trouble” and she loved teasing and mischief!
Friends and family may call at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Sidney, on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 12:00-1:30 PM with services to follow. Pastor Jim Oates will be officiating services. Burial will follow at Schwaberow Cemetery in Kettlersville, Ohio. Adams Funeral Home will be caring for the needs of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ or James Cancer Center in Columbus.
