Viva Yvonne (Johnson) Hughes

Viva Yvonne Hughes, age 65, of Sidney, passed away November 9, 2017, at Kindred Hospital, Lima, Ohio.

She was born September 4, 1952 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Fred Sr. and Nettie (Bennet) Johnson.

Surviving are children; Jaime Hughes of Sidney, Dennis Hughes of Sidney, grandson, Robert Xavier Stittums, siblings; Judy (Joe) Shoemaker of Sidney, Debora (Dave) Smedley of Sidney, Cynthia (Junior) Gibson of Sidney, Sylvania (William) Ludwig of Sidney and Fred Johnson Jr. of Sidney.

Viva was preceded in death by son, Peter Elthorne Johnson and sister, Marlinda Johnson.

Viva was employed at Hydro Aluminum in Sidney.  She was an avid OSU fan, she loved sewing, camping, and watching the Walking Dead movies.  She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral costs.
