Shirley Murphy Obituary
Shirley A. Murphy, age 78, of Sidney, passed away February 18, 2018 at Wilson Health Emergency Room, Sidney.
She was born March 3, 1939, in Sidney, to the late Walter and Betty (Wilt) Scherer.
Shirley is survived by son, Kyle Scherer of Sidney, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Daughter, Deloris Waldroop and two great grandchildren preceded her in death.
Shirley was previously employed by Voca in Sidney. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, and drawing. She loved spending time with her family, great grandchildren and friends.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Shirley’s memory.
The staff of Adams Funeral Home has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
