Samuel L Teets

Samuel L. Teets, age 71, of Sidney, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Pavilion Nursing Home in Sidney.

He was born October 13, 1947 in Piqua, to the late Frances and Betty (Robinson) Teets.

On October 19, 1973, he married Georgia Dianne (Millington) Teets and she survives.

Also surviving are sons; Eric and Kevin Teets of Sidney, grandchildren; Cody Teets, Kiersten Teets, and sisters; Arlene Jones of Lockington and Teresa Profit of Piqua.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Samuel proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Norcold Industries after many years of faithful service. He was a 1965 graduate of Miami East High School.

Samuel loved sports, especially Ohio State University football and basketball. He was a computer whiz, and he loved to read, especially the Bible.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday,

February 12, 2019, at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Wilson officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery with the American Legion Post 217 performing

full military honors.
