Sally Ann (Limbert) Kipp, age 69, of Anna, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at her home residence surrounded by family.
She was born November 7, 1947, in Sidney, Ohio to the late Virgil and Virginia (Lorton) Limbert. On August 20, 1977, she married Eldred Kipp, Jr. in Port Jefferson, Ohio and he survives.
Sally is survived by children, Richard (Kimberly) Kipp, of Anna, Ohio, and Sarah (Jason) Carpenter, of Fremont, Michigan; 4 grandchildren, Ashlinn (fiance’ Joel Naseman) Kipp, Anthony Kipp, Peyton Carpenter and Brecken Carpenter; 2 step grandchildren, Ashtin Barnes and Kerisha Childress; brother, Sam (Linda) Limbert, of Port Jefferson, Ohio; 6 nieces and nephews, Dan (Sherri) Wildermuth, Darren (Deb) Wildermuth, Clint Limbert, Colleen Limbert, Chad Limbert and Camille Limbert and 5 great nieces and nephews, Scott Wildermuth, Dara (Charley) Teasley, Chase Wildermuth, Clay Wildermuth, and Cody Limbert.
Sally was preceded in death by sister, Charlotte Wildermuth and brother-in-law Larry Wildermuth.
Sally was a 1966 graduate of Sidney High School and worked at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Monarch Machine and Phil’s Cardinal as a Deli Clerk in Jackson Center, Ohio. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kettlersville, Ohio. She was also a member of Stokes Eastern Stars #543 Port Jefferson, Ohio as Worthy Matron and other positions. She was also involved in Cub Scouts, Girls Scouts as a Leader and District Supervisor, Woman’s Guild and many Sunday School positions through the years.
She enjoyed plastic canvas needlework and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. There will be an Eastern Star Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 8888 St. Rt. 274, Kettlersville, Ohio, with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Schwaberow Cemetery, New Bremen, Ohio.
The family requests that donations be made to Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kettlersville, Ohio and Wilson Home Health/Hospice in Sally’s memory.
