Ruth E. (Morelock) Daugherty

RUTH E. DAUGHERTY, age 85, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2018 at The Pavilion in Sidney.  She was born on December 25, 1932 in Sidney to the late Sherman and Anna (Michael) Morelock. 

Ruth is survived by her children: Douglas Miller and Sandy (Dan) McKibben, all of Sidney; siblings: Erma (Royal) Cotterman and Helen (Harvey) Wooddell, all of Sidney; two ex-husbands: Jack Miller of Findley and Willard Daugherty; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one ex-husband: William Loffer; one brother: Don Morelock; and one sister and brother-in-law: Martha and Billy Yinger.

Ruth was previously employed by Montgomery Ward, Landmark and the Auditor's Office in Sidney.  She enjoyed collecting and selling antiques at local flea markets in Quartzsite, AZ, and going to casinos. 

Gathering of friends and family will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Linda Dulin Moore officiating.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
