Roger Leon Puckett, age 58, of Jackson Center, passed away October 11, 2017, at his residence.
He was born August 24, 1959, in Sidney, to the late Ira Frank and Virginia “Blanche” (Morrison) Puckett. Virginia survives in Minster.
Roger married Constance “Connie” (Wilson) Puckett on September 10, 2005, and she survives.
Also surviving are son, Roger Nathan Puckett of Jackson Center, daughter, Amanda Vestal of Sidney, grandchildren; Kila and Carter Puckett, Maranda Vestal, and sister, Doris (Kenneth) Osterloh of Minster. He was preceded in death by wives; Penny Jackson Puckett and Kim Dulin Puckett.
Roger was a 1977 graduate of Sidney High School. Roger was of the Methodist faith. He retired from NK Parts of Sidney after 21 years of faithful service. He also worked 20 years at Dorothy Love Retirement Center. He loved going fishing, playing cards and poker and attending garage sales. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Hardin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Anna Rescue Squad or Wilson Hospice in Roger’s memory.
