Richard W. Slife

RICHARD W. SLIFE, age 64, of Sidney passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit it Troy. He was born on June 4, 1953, in Sidney to the late Richard James and Phyllis Eileen (Allen) Slife.  On March 23, 1973, he married Kathryn Sue Magee and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by one son: Steven (Laura) Slife of St. Marys; one grandchild: Dakota Slife; and one sister: Connie (Mike) Rupert of Spencerville.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin Slife and Gerald E. “Gene” Slife.

Richard was a 1972 graduate of Sidney High School.  He retired from Quality Steel Fabrication in Sidney.  Richard loved taking rides with his wife, Kathryn, on their motorcycle, playing cards and spending time with his family.

Gathering of Friends will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
