Paul L. Opperman, age 76, of Anna, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Villages Regional Hospital at The Villages of Florida.
He was born September 1, 1941 in Sidney, to the late George William and Rozella (Fickel) Opperman.
On June 18, 1960, he married Shirley (Wilt) Opperman and she preceded him in death July 3, 2017.
Paul is survived by his children and spouses; David and Kimberly Vetter of Wapakoneta, Steven Opperman of Sidney, Michael and Anne Opperman, Mark and Jill Opperman and Gregory and Kathryn Opperman, all of Anna, fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren, sister, Alice (Phil) Fisher of Ft. Jennings, Ohio and brother, John (Geneva) Opperman of Wapakoneta.
Paul was a 1959 graduate of Anna High School. It was his and his wife’s dream of starting L & O Tire Service in Anna. It opened in 1981, and he successfully operated it for many years. He enjoyed attending flea markets, antique malls and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
