Pasquale Lino Ruiu

Pasquale Lino Ruiu, age 66, of Anna, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Upper Valley Medical Center.

He was born November 6, 1952 in Bitti Sardinia, Italy, to the late Giovanni Ruiu and Antonia Mele Ruiu, and she survives.

He is also survived by his longtime friend and companion, Sonya Bower, daughter, Lucianna Norregaard of Blairsville, Georgia, son, Giovanni Ruiu of Anna, grandson, Cody Norregaard, granddaughter, Lia Groundwater and sister, MariaRita Ruiu of London, England.

Pasquale is of the Catholic faith.  He was in the Merchant Marines. He was a fabulous chef, opening many restaurants and a pizza parlor.  He enjoyed woodworking and making leather bags which were featured in Vogue magazine in the 1970’s.

There will be no calling hours.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Shelby Memory Gardens.
