Michael Mahan Obituary

Michael Keith Mahan, age 71 of Sidney, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1947 in Shelby County, OH to father Keith Mahan and mother Maxine (Russell) Stiver who preceded him in death. He married Cynthia (Cotterman) Mahan on July 27, 1968.

He is survived by children Jennifer (John) Bernardi of Sidney, Stacey Mahan of Sidney, Justin (Sara Bowman) Mahan of Anna; grandchildren Jakob Bernardi, Josef Bernardi, Jaxson Mahan. He was preceded in death by brother Ronald (Roberta who survives) Mahan of Arizona and sister Connie (Tim who survives) Colbert of California.

Michael was a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Army where he ran heavy equipment as an operating engineer for many years. He loved archery and hunting, and was a 1965 Houston High School Graduate. He retired from Operating Engineer’s Union in 2012.

Friends and family may call Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home. Services will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment with full military honors will be held at Pasco Cemetery by Sidney American Legion Post 217 and the United States Army.
