Michael Andrew Hogue

MICHAEL ANDREW HOGUE, age 66, of Sidney, formerly of New Lexington, OH, died on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at Fair Haven Nursing Home in Sidney.  He was born on March 7, 1951 in Columbus, OH to the late Eugene and Zelma (Roberts) Hogue.

Michael had made his home the last 21 years with his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Kay Hogue, in Sidney.  He had been a resident of Fair Haven Nursing Home since June of 2017.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: David, Larry, Bert and Gary Hogue.

Michael is survived by sister-in-laws: Kay Hogue of Sidney, OH and Carol Hague of Springfield, OH; brother: James (Anna) Hogue of Corning, OH; sisters: Rebecca Orr of Springfield, OH and Bonnie Taylor of Lancaster, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend: Linda Ostendorf.

Michael attended S & H Products while in Sidney.  He enjoyed workshop and outings.  He was on two plane trips while residing with Larry and Kay.  Michael loved the airplane trip to Las Vegas and Florida.  He enjoyed eating out, bowling, playing cards, art and swimming.  Michael was a member of Piqua Church of the Nazarene.

Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Steve Spoon officiating.  Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, OH.  Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
