Martha E. (McLain) Bowman

MARTHA E. “SNOWBALL” BOWMAN, age 69, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love Retirement Center. She was born on November 2, 1948 in Sidney to the late James Cecil and Roselee (Driskell) McLain. She married Donald Lee Bowman and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2009.

Snowball is survived by two children: Charmin (Fiancé, Rodney Campbell) Marquis of Wapakoneta and Donald Lee (Hannah) Bowman of Columbus, IN; siblings: Keith (Pam) McLain, Richard (Nancy) McLain and Charlotte (Ed) Foster, all of Sidney; grandchild: Marcus (Heather) Marquis; great grandchildren: Jaylia Marquis, Alex Marquis, Julian Marquis and Damian Marquis; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: Jake McLain.

Snowball attended Harvest Baptist Church in Wapakoneta. She was a 1967 graduate of Sidney High School. Snowball was a school bus driver for Indian Lake Schools. She loved woodworking.

Memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Linda Dulin Moore officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 – 10:30 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
