Marilyn K. Briggs

MARILYN K. BRIGGS, age 73, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018, at her residence.  She was born on June 10, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to the late Clinton Franklin and Eve (Hughes) Briggs.

Marilyn is survived by one brother Joe (Vicki) Briggs of Bellefontaine; one sister: Kathy Widmark of Wapakoneta; special aunt: Jody Compton of Sunbury; special family members: Dave and Kelly Cornett of Sidney; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong partner: Emma Cornett; and one brother: David Briggs.

Marilyn retired from Copeland Corporation after 32 years of faithful service.  She was a 1963 graduate of Wapakoneta High School.  Marilyn loved to do puzzles, go to garage sales, create ceramics and go fishing.  She was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, with Pastor Charla Grieves officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Friends may call from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
