Leonard Gregory

Leonard Gregory, age 87 of Sidney, passed away peacefully Monday, January 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1931 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Rhodge Gregory and Mattie (Bell) Gregory. He married the love of his life, Lillian Gregory, on April 20, 1950 and she preceded him in death on May 1, 1970.

Leonard is survived by children James Gregory of Sidney, Sue (Auttie) King of Sidney,  Jewel (David) Scholl of Port Jefferson, Tim (Sue) Gregory of Sidney, Janet (Tom) Borkowski of Sidney, Tom (Carol) Gregory of Sidney, David (Teresa) Gregory of Sidney, Barb Gregory of Sidney; 30 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 39 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Dina, Nina, Lona, Ethel, and Lula; brothers Herman, and Marian.

Leonard was a man of God who always had a Bible in his hand. He was a member of Solid rock Pentecostal Church in Sidney. He retired from Gartland Haswell, Stolle, and Sidney Walmart.  He enjoyed playing cornhole, riding bikes, cook outs, and spending time with his family.

 A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, 45365. Services will be held at 12:00 with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating. Pallbearers will be James Gregory, Tim Gregory, Tom Gregory, David Gregory, Alex Jones, and Tom Borkowski. Interment will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Miami County Hospice in Leonard Gregory’s memory.
