Lenvil Thomas “Ben” Patton, age 86, of Sidney, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at his residence.
He was born January 31, 1932 in Floyd County, Maytown, Kentucky to the late Jake and Edna (Marshall) Patton.
Lenvil was married on December 26, 1952, to Lavern (Stapleton) Patton and she preceded him in death June 24, 2015.
Also surviving are four sons, Rick (Mary) Patton, of Maryville, TN, Tim Patton, of Maplewood, Doug (Deanna) Patton, of Perry, Ohio and Ron (Stacy) Patton, of Sidney, grandchildren; Jake (Lindsey) Patton, Ginny (Chris) Pucci, Ben (Trisha) Patton, Courtney Patton and Kyle Patton, six great-grandchildren, Brandt, Colton, Alayna, Lillian, Sophia and Joshua Patton; sister, Nancy Blevins of Maytown, Ky.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
Lenvil was retired from Stolle Corporation in Sidney after 43 years of faithful service. He attended Trinity Church of the Brethren of Sidney. He enjoyed yard work and gardening. he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Shelby Memory Gardens with Pastor Linda Dulin Moore officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wilson Hospice in Lenvil’s memory.
The staff of Adams Funeral Home has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
