Leah R. Travis, age 77 of Anna, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1941 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Raymond Krueger and Marguerite (Scholl) Krueger.
Leah is survived by son John (Joyce) Zwiebel of Lima; daughter Debra Zwiebel of Anna; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Lynnette (James) Brown of New Knoxville; brothers Raymond Krueger of Epping, New Hampshire; Kenneth M. (Cinda) Krueger of Englewood. She was preceded in death by one son, Jim Zwiebel; brother Randall Krueger; sister Majorie Hoke.
Leah was an LPN for over 20 years. She was proud to work as an over-the-road driver in her later years. She graduated from Sinclair School of Nursing. Leah enjoyed quilting, working in her flower garden, and had an immense love for all animals, especially her cats. She loved spending time with her adoring family and friends. Leah will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation (S.C.A.R.F.) in Leah’s memory. Condolences may be expressed online at theadamsfuneralhome.com.
