Larry M. Doak

Larry M. Doak, age 70 of Sidney, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney. He was born in Sidney on April 20, 1947 to the late Leo and Charla M. (Holly) Doak. Larry is survived by his loving partner: Elaine McClain; children: Charla Hicks of Crestview, Fl. and Joshua Doak of Scottsdale, AZ; stepson: Ben (Amber) McClain of Grand Rapids, MI; Grandchildren: Gracie, Emma, Ava. Step-grandchildren; Kayla, Leah, Cameron, Lilly, Connor and Sarah; Great step grandchildren: CJ, Jayla, Jaslynn, DJ, Eric and Jayce.; Siblings: Brenda (John) Elliott, Rebecca Fleming, Steven Doak, William (Kim) Doak, Joseph (Teresa) Doak and Laura (David) Fleming, all of Sidney, In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by a stepdaughter: Jackie Hicks; a sister Denise Doak; a brother Bruce Doak and a brother in law; John Fleming. Larry was a graduate of Sidney High School. He retired from Stolle Corporation in Sidney. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Sidney American Legion Post 217. Larry was of the Christian faith. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
