KACEY DAWN SWIGER- age 18 of Sidney passed away following a car accident on Saturday December 23, 2017. She was born June 2, 1999 to Phillip (Holly) Swiger of Sidney and Dana (Nathan) Leckey of Anna.
Kacey is survived by her siblings Zachary Swiger of Anna, Megan and Kayla Swiger of Sidney. Uncles: Timothy (Michelle) Phelps of Sidney, and Scott Cupp (Kathy Wheeller) of Sidney, aunts: Angelia (Timothy) Vaughn of Maplewood and Amy Swiger of Georgia grandparents Freda phelps of Sidney and Richard and Jearlene Swiger of Sidney. She was preceded in death by her grandfather David M. Phelps of Sidney.
Kacey was a senior at Sidney High School, where she played softball. She also played softball with Miami County Blaze, where she was catcher. Kacey enjoyed being with friends and going to the river to camp with her family. Kacey was employed at Wendy’s for two years. She was offered a scholarship to play softball at University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima.
Service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Chad Inman officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
