Judy A. (Farley) Kingseed

Judy A. Kingseed, 70, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017, at 9:10 p.m. at Sarasota Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She had been a Sarasota, FL. resident for the past year.

She was born April 4, 1947, in Sidney, Ohio. The daughter of Richard and Evelyn (Drees) Farley, both of whom are deceased. She was married on June 4, 1970, to Jeb Kingseed who survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Ms. Jamie Kingseed, of Volo, IL. Other survivors are one sister, Carol Schommer, of Deltona, FL, and two brothers, Samuel (Meghan) Farley, of Oviedo, FL, and Scott (Rhonda) Farley, of Sidney, OH.

Mrs. Kingseed was a 1965 graduate of Holy Angels High School. She was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life as a homemaker. Her creativity and artistic spirit were contagious among her family and friends, and she loved taking photographs and creating scrapbooks for all to enjoy. She shared her father’s passion for Notre Dame University and the Fighting Irish, and she loved her Chicago Cubbies.  She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Sarasota, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sarasota, FL, on September 20, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio on September 25, 2017. Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. There will be a prayer service at the funeral home at 2:00 PM on Sunday with Rev. Fr. Frank Amberger as Celebrant.
