JONATHAN D BOYER, age 66, of Botkins, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexler Medical Center in Columbus. He was born on December 23, 1950 in Sidney to the late Emerson and Alberta (Fogt) Boyer. On January 22, 1972, he married Debra Zweibel Boyer. She survives.
Jonathan is also survived by two children and their spouses: Jason and Jen Boyer of Anna and Shane and April Boyer of Spencerville; one sister and brother-in-law: Susan and Doug Deal of Sidney; and six grandchildren: Alana, Mya, Alyiah, Ella, Eli and Asher.
Jonathan was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Botkins and Moose Lodge in Sidney. He retired from Ferguson Construction after 29 years as a crane operator. Jonathon was also a life-long farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 23, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post in Anna. Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
