JONAH I. BROWN, age 64, of Sidney, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 18. 2017. He was born on August 27, 1953 in Albany, KY to the late Iles and Lois (Boyd) Brown. On July 30, 2012, he married Norma Jean Heinfeld Davis Brown and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Jonah is survived by two children: Jerry (Kim) Brown of Sidney and Erin Harris of Jackson, MS; one sister: Carol Abshire of Piqua; one step son: Wade (Brenda) Davis of Sidney; one niece: Alice Legg of Piqua; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Frank and Adam Brown.
Jonah attended Connection Point Church in Sidney. He was an honorary member of Fallen Heroes Motorcycle Riders and Vikings. Jonah proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps. He was a self employed carpenter. Jonah enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and hunting.
Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Chad Shepherd officiating. Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery at a later date.
