JAMES E. BUNDY, SR., age 72, of Harlan, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Hazard Memorial Hospital in Hazard, KY. He was born on January 17, 1945 in Kinvir, KY to the late George and Ethel Bundy.
James is survived by children: Jenny Ryan and James E. (Tasha) Bundy, both of Sidney, and Mark (Judy) Bundy and Lisa Bundy, both of Urbana; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and siblings: Crystal Ferguson and Kathy Bundy, both of Evarts, KY, and Glen Bundy of Sidney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Linda Brown.
James proudly served his country as a member of the US Army and the US Navy. He was of the Baptist faith. James enjoyed playing guitar and many other musical instruments. He loved to watch old movies, especial John Wayne movies and Lonesome Dove. Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco with Pastor Fred Gillenwater officiating. Full military honors will be presented at the cemetery.
