JAMES L. BRUNSWICK, age 80, of Sidney, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born on February 12, 1937 in McCartysville to the late Philip and Mary Catherine (Shatto) Brunswick.
On March 13, 1962, he married Mary Alice Snowden and she survives. He is also survived by his children: Richard James (Pam) Brunswick, Philip Brunswick and Joseph (Jessica) Brunswick, all of Sidney; sister: Carol Slusser of Sidney; and grandchildren: Colleen, Kristen, Alex, Marc, Ben and Luc Brunswick. In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul and Joe Brunswick; and one step brother: Marvin Shatto.
James was a member of Wagner Avenue Church of God in Sidney, where he was active as an usher. He retired after 50 years of working in several factories around Sidney and Shelby County. James enjoyed working with his fish aquarium, planting flowers outside, painting and cutting lawns for other people.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with Pastor Shane Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park in Covington. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
