Eugene Siegel

Eugene Siegel, age 79 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. He was born July 22, 1939 in Anna, Ohio to father Edward Siegel and mother Mildred (Poling) Siegel who preceded him in death. He married Joyce Ann (Legge) Siegel on August 23, 1959 who survives.

Eugene is survived by children John (Lisa) Beigel of Sidney, Dave (Jill) Richards of Sidney; grandchildren Angie (Josh) Ross, Derek (Abigail) Richards, Danielle Richards, Andy (Lesley) Beigel, Kristin Beigel; great-grandchildren Burke Ross, Baylor Ross. He was preceded in death by sibling Margaret Stroud.  

He retired from Alcoa Building Products after 33 years, he was a 1958 Quincy graduate, and a member of Trinity Church of the Brethren in Sidney. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. He loved being at home and spending time with family and his cat, Mittens.

Family and friends may call Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney. Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Adams Funeral Home with viewing from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM with Pastor Brent Driver officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
