EDWIN J. PULFER, age 67, of Sidney, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at his residence. He was born on March 31, 1951 in Sidney to Donald Merle Pulfer of Anna and the late Margaret Bernice (Maggert) Pulfer.
Edwin is survived by his wife: Sally (Baker) Pulfer of Sidney; siblings: Bonnie (Jerry) Schmidt of Piqua, Twilah (Jerry) Swiger of Maplewood and Scott (Dawn) Pulfer of Anna; children: Nicole (Wade) Schaffer of Celina, Angela (Rodney) Swob of Anna, Geoffrey (Bethany) Pulfer of Hamilton, Matthew (Courtney) Pulfer of Versailles, Mark (Jana) Pulfer of Anna, Ryan (Jennifer) Pulfer of Sidney and Joseph Pulfer of Sidney; twenty three grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother: Dennis; and one grandson: McKinnley.
Edwin was a 1969 graduate of Anna High School. He was a volunteer fireman/EMT serving with Shelby County Fire and Rescue, Anna Fire and Anna Rescue, where he was a former president. Edwin loved golf and played on both Senior Golf League and Stolle Golf League. He retired from Menards in 2013.
Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Randy Locker officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held at Glen Cemetery.
