Donald E Hook

Donald E. Hook, age 73 of Sidney, passed away peacefully December 25, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born September 28, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to father Charles Franklin Hook and mother Harriet Artilla (Eldridge) Hook and they preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Bette (Duer) Hook in 1991 and she survives.

He is survived by children Cheryl Wilcox of Marion, Don (Heather) Hook of Marion, John (Veronica) Hook of Loveland, Colorado, Randy (Joy) Moore of Piqua, Terry Moore of Sidney, Rebel (Stephen) Marcum of Tipp City; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Mary Gorton of Marion; brother Charlie Hook of Lakeland, Florida. He was preceded in death by child Barry Moore; brother Jerry Hook; sister Betty Hook.

Donald was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was very involved with the Sidney Senior Center. He was a member of Alcony Grace Church in Troy. He worked faithfully as treasurer of the Senior Center, worked in various sales positions, and worked for AK Steel. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His family loved him very much and he will be greatly missed.

Friends and family may call Monday, December 31, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio, 45365. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Marcum officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sidney Senior Center.
