Delmar Terry

Delmar Terry, age 82 of Sidney, passed away peacefully at his home surroundings with his two loving daughters by his side on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was born March 15, 1936 in Co-Operative, Kentucky to father Maynard Terry and mother Ruby (Slaven) Terry who preceded him in death. He married Peggy (Hensley) Terry on May 8, 1971 and she preceded him in death on July 31, 2010.

He is survived by children Steve Chester, Bill Terry, Cheryl Byrd, Cindy Slaven, Robin Terry, David Terry; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by son Donald Terry.

He retired in 1999 from Copeland Corporation after 47 years of faithful service as a machine repairman. He was a member of the Calvary United Baptist Church in Sidney. He loved hunting, fishing, playing Texas Hold’em at the Senior Center, gardening, and traveling.

Friends may call Monday, October 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 10:00 at Adams Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
