DAVID K. SCHMIDT, age 70, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born on May 14, 1947 in Sidney to the late Harold and Lillian Mae (Kendall) Schmidt II.
David is survived by three children” Harold Joseph Schmidt II of Sidney, Lisa Doreen Schmidt of Troy and Angela Renee Schmidt of Sidney; siblings: Peter George Schmidt of Sidney, Osa Skeens of KY and Lucy Ramey of TN; four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Teresa (Kolker) Schmidt; and one son.
David proudly served his country as a member of the US Army in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion Post #217 and AmVets Post #4239. David was a retired mechanic. He loved working on cars and motorcycles.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Mark Strunk officiating. Friends may call from may call on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
