Daniel Lee Williamson, Sr

Daniel Lee Williamson Sr. age 78 went to be with our Lord on February 17, 2019, peacefully at his residence in Sidney, Ohio, surrounded by family.  He was born April 9, 1940 in Racine, WI. to Marshall and Mildred Williamson.  He married the late Adene Hicks on January 21, 1960.  He served in the US Navy from 1958-1960.  He retired from Textron in Thomasville, GA. after many years of faithful service.  Daniel enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching football.

Daniel is survived by 2 daughters: Lisa Williamson and companion Jerry Colller, and Deborah (Mark) Sidey; 3 sons; Danny (Mary) Williamson Jr., George Williamson, Scott (Elaine) Williamson; 3 grandchildren; Kaylene Tover, Danny (Sara) Williamson III, Robyn Johnson; and 6 great grandchildren.

Daniel was preceded in death by: his wife, Adene Williamson; father, Marshall Williamson; mother, Mildred Williamson; brothers, David Williamson and Dennis Williamson; and his half-brother, Ervin Wirth.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Kykers Funeral Home, 350 W. Race Street, Kingston, TN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Roane Memorial Cemetery, Rockwood, TN. with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Valley View Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1188, Harriman, TN. 37748 in Daniel’s  memory.
