Dailan D Day

Dailan D. Day, age 24, of Lockington, passed away August 2, 2018, as a result of an automobile accident.  He was born February 11, 1994 in Sidney, to the late Dalan Day and Mandy (Blankenship) Day who survives in Sidney.

Dailan is survived by his fiance’ Victoria Beaucamp,   grandparents, Jerry and Kathy Gross of Russia, Odis and Irene Day of Sidney, Johnny and Diane Blankenship of  Cooksville, TN. Also surviving are children, Melodie and Lucas Day, siblings, Rafe Kivette of Sidney, Saxon Burtis of Troy, Ted and Amanda Lichtenberg of Sidney, Amber Day and fiance’ Jacob Bowman of Livingston, TN., and Deanna Day of Versailles.

Dailan was a 2012 graduate of Sidney High School.  He worked in various construction projects and had just received his Contractors license. He loved fishing and camping at Lake Loramie. Dailan played football for Sidney High School. He enjoyed playing football with his brother Rafe and spending time with his children. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Dailan had lived most of his life with his grandparents, Odis and Irene Day.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 9:30 -11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will commence at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harold McKnight officiating.  Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
