CECIL R. CAUDILL, age 84, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Wilson Health Emergency Room. He was born on January 23, 1933 in Letcher, KY to the late Arville and Minnie (Fields) Caudill. On February 1, 1952, he married Wanda Acree. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children and their spouses: Steve and Pamela Pinson of Sidney and Tim and Patty Caudill of Rushville, IN; four grandchildren: Kim (Mike) Titus, Beverly (Mark) Beard, Amy (Andy) Murray and Samantha Caudill; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brothers: Lee (Rosemary) Caudill, James (Nina) Caudill, Darrell (Barbara) Howell, Dale (Linda) Howell, all of KY; and sisters: Ruby Moore and Emma Howell, both of KY, Sandra Cooke of Trinity, NC, and Mildred (Howard) Richardson of KY. He was preceded in death by siblings: Denver Caudill, Lowell Caudill, Audra Faye Caudill and Mary Howell.
Cecil attended First Baptist Church in Sidney. He worked at Minster Machine for 42 years. Cecil enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and liked to cook. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. George Gnade officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
