BARBARA A. BRUGGEMAN, age 70 of Sidney, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Wilson Health Emergency Room in Sidney. She was born in Jackson, MI on March 3, 1947 to the late Russell Ray and Nellie (Dowty) Heck. On August 7, 1965, she married James Bruggeman and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her children: Tonya Smith of Ft. Smith AR and Drema LeMaster, Shellie Bruggeman and Jennifer (Anthony) Stallard, all of Sidney; five grandchildren: Brandon, Brittany, Bradley, Jessica and James III; five great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Malaki, Abe, Aiden and Arabella; and one sister: Pam Knasel of Sidney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; and one son: James Bruggeman II.
Barbara was a member of Christian Tabernacle in Sidney. She enjoyed word search puzzles and spending time with her cats. Barbara especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Tim Bartee officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery in Pt. Jefferson. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
