Austin Doak Obituary

The struggle for Austin Ray Doak was real and now he is set free. At age 21, he passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1997 in Dayton, Ohio to his loving and devoted parents James Doak Jr. and Carol (Stoker) Doak and they survive.

Austin is survived by sister Courtney (Jordan) Deady of Sidney; grandparents Tom Sheipline of Anna, James Doak of DeGraff; aunts and uncles Shirley (Rod) Foster, Connie (Dale) Roesser, Cheryl (Darrell) Langston, Kurt (Krista) Sheipline, Burt (Jen Hennessey) Sheipline, Rita (Kurt) Manger. He was preceded in death by Raymond and Virginia Stoker and Clairlynn Sheipline.

Austin was a 2015 graduate of Fairlawn High School. He also attended JVS for HVAC. He worked as a maintenance man for Plastipak and was a member of Greenview United Church of Christ in Plattsville. He liked to race motorcycles and dirt bikes and liked going four wheeling. He was an avid deer hunter, scuba diver, and liked to fish. He was a talented basketball and soccer player.

Friends and family may call Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Kris Geise officiating.
